Southwest Pools Dallas Pool & Outdoor Living Photography

Project Overview:

This Dallas project gave First Choice Media an opportunity to document a compact backyard with several distinct outdoor living features. The geometric cocktail pool serves as the focal point. Meanwhile, a raised wall along one side introduces five square scuppers that send individual streams of water into the pool.Light-colored coping and surrounding hardscape create contrast against the dark waterline tile and blue pool lighting. In addition, turf strips separate sections of the hardscape and create geometric pathways around the pool. The resulting layout provides several visually distinct elements within a relatively compact outdoor space.Beyond the pool, the project includes a covered outdoor living area centered around a linear fireplace. Seating areas appear throughout the backyard as well. Therefore, wider photographs help show how the pool connects visually with the fireplace, patio, furnishings, and surrounding landscape.First Choice Media also captured aerial photographs from directly above the property. As a result, the drone imagery clearly shows the geometry of the cocktail pool and surrounding hardscape. It also reveals the relationship between the pool, turf accents, stepping areas, covered patio, and existing architecture.Finally, detailed ground photography focuses on individual design elements that can disappear in wider images. The custom scuppers are especially effective subjects because the flowing water, stone-toned wall, dark fixtures, and pool lighting create strong visual contrast. Together, the ground and aerial photographs provide Southwest Pools with a versatile collection of marketing imagery.
