Luxury Ranch Pool Photography | Somervell Aquatecture

Project Overview:

This Somervell Aquatecture project provided First Choice Media with an opportunity to document a pool and outdoor living environment where the surrounding property is just as important to the visual story as the pool itself. Located on a large ranch in Walnut Springs, Texas, the rectangular pool sits above the natural grade, creating a striking multi-level environment. Extensive stone walls visually connect the pool with a lower flagstone seating area centered around a circular fire pit. Three laminar jets arc across the pool, while raised planters, mature trees, landscape lighting, broad illuminated steps, and layered landscaping soften the architectural lines. The elevated position also gives the pool expansive views across the ranch and nearby pond. First Choice Media photographed the property during changing light conditions to capture both sides of the project: the warm natural landscape and stone textures around sunset, followed by the dramatic blue pool lighting, illuminated water features, and landscape lighting after dusk. Combining professional photography, videography, and drone coverage created a more complete visual library that Somervelle Aquatecture can use to showcase the project across its website, social media, portfolio, and future marketing.
